Description of 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

1970 Monte Carlo. 383 small block. raised runner aluminum heads. bow-tie intake. Holley carb. MSD 6AL box. TH350. 3. 73:1 Auburn Posi. Weld DragLite 90's. Mickey Thompson rears. Firestone fronts. runs 12. 4 in the 1/4 all night long on pump 91. has the stance and the sound to get major attention. incredibly reliable. and drives like a dream. No squeaks or rattles. no wind noises around windows. just upgraded with new carpet. new dash refinish. new dash pad. kick panels. new trunk spatter paint. Cowl scoop is all steel. with custom 1" X 1" square tubing blended into the existing hood shell made to look like it came this way from the factory. Engine was refreshed about 4500 miles ago. and even though it needed virtually nothing. new rod bearings were installed as well as a Pete Jackson gear drive. Spark plugs and wires were just replaced and a new Holley blue fuel pump installed less than 600 miles ago. This car was built with the intention of being driven often. with reliability and comfort in mind. The interior is full custom and incredibly comfortable. Color is unique. with custom made seat belts that match perfectly. as is the new carpet with matching floor mats.
