Description of 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster

1965 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster. 327/300hp. 4-speedPurchased By The Current Owner In 1987 and Restored Over A Several Year Period. nbsp;Finished in 2007BodyAccident free body was stripped. gel coated and professionally painted red. PPG Base Coat. Clear Coat. The original color of the car was Ermine White (CC). All new weather stripping. seals. rubber and a new convertible top was installed. All chrome accessories (including bumpers. door handles. mirrors. etc. ) were re-chromed. ChassisChassis was sandblasted and professionally painted. The front/rear suspension was completely rebuilt with new bushings. seals. rubber. fuel lines. body mounts. shocks. brake lines. brakes. nbsp;etc. EngineOriginal 327 engine was professionally rebuilt as well as the original 4-speed manual transmission. All new belts. hoses. radiator and related new ancillary parts were installed along with a new exhaust. Original Aircleaner included. but not shown in the pictures (removed to expose engine for photos). InteriorCompletely new Al Knock interior was professionally installed to factory (black) specifications. Misc. Authentic knock-off wheels installed with new BF Goodrich tires. GM side exhaust installed as well. Aftermarket radio installed with the original radio provided separately. The car runs and drives very strongly with a great nostalgic sound. Nice restored numbers matching car (with the exception of the paint) owned by the current owner for over 27 years.
