Description of 1937 Chevrolet Other Master Deluxe

The car received an off the frame restoration in 2003. Various improvements have been made since. I have driven the car 19, 78 miles since the restoration. The transmission is a regular 700R4 transmission. This is a show car, not a drag car. It has never been on the drag strip nor raced on the street. I don't do burn outs. Passing cars on the highway is fun. Pulling the floor shift lever from locked-up overdrive to 3rd gear and stomping the gas pedal to the floor will scare the daylights out of you, your passengers, and whoever is in the car that you are passing. This car weighs less than 2800 pounds and has over 500 horsepower. It is wicked fast. The transmission has 17, 42 miles since it was rebuilt. The engine has 7, 89 miles since rebuild. It was professionally built by Savannah Racing in Savannah, GA using forged pistons and rods. Compression ratio is 8.5:1. Ignition is controlled by a MSD Boost Timing Management 6 box and MSD Blaster coil. The BDM 671 blower provides 6 pounds of boost. Overall compression is 12.2:1. Use pump 97 octane gasoline, not racing fuel. A Comp cam and roller rockers were installed. The tires have less than 1, 00 miles wear. Tires were bought in 2013. The blower has 12, 56 miles. Power assist drum brakes front and rear. Vega box manual steering. Frenched-in rear licence plate holder with 3rd brake light. Two extra brake lights under car for added visibility. I put Rain-X on the windows and the car has only been wet 3 times since 2003. I use Windex and cloth baby diapers to clean the paint. The car has a hood that is not mounted. The complete hood with all chrome and hardware will be in the back seat. Except for the first four trophies shown in the last picture, all the other trophies were won without the hood. The scoop will not fit without cutting a hole in the hood or replacing the scoop with thin air cleaners. The hood still needs to be polished. There is a quart of Viper Red clear coat/base coat for touch up. I am also including a painted glove box door and glove box liner so that the radio can be relocated. All the receipts since 1980 are included with several specialty parts catalogs. I have bought and sold several cars on eBay and I understand the difficulties of getting a good, yet inexpensive shipper to move the car. I will store the car indoors for free for 30 days after the sale. I will help load. I recommend a covered trailer. The complete motor and blower cost over $11, 00. Chopping the top cost $3, 00. The polished stainless steel firewall another $500. The Viper Red paint, clear coat and other supplies cost over $2, 00. Building this car and doing all the labor yourself will cost you over $40, 00.I drive to car shows within 150 miles one way and have never had a problem. The car is very dependable. The cam is very tame at low rpm's and easy to drive. The blower provides normal torque and horsepower at low rpm's and quickly increases when you push hard on the accelerator. Watch the videos with the sound turned all the way up. Inside the car is quiet at idle. You only hear the blower inside the car when you are accelerating hard past 3, 00 rpm.Imagine driving to your local cruse-in with this babyThis was the first time we started it with the blower. Listen to that blower whine !!!! Copy and paste this link into your browser: https://youtu.be/x-9Y-X5NkJ4Full length, ceramic coated, racing headers.
