Up for sale is a 1963 Chevrolet Sting Ray Corvette Convertible driver with hardtop. There is no soft top. This corvette needs some TLC but I have too many other projects and cannot work on it.This is the story of this Corvette as good as I can remember. I bought it in Albuquerque, New Mexico from a guy who who had bought it from a guy in Indiana. The Indiana owner supposedly had a frame off done in 1982? and had the Corvette stored away when two young men stole it for a joyride. Both left fenders suffered damage from the joyride and he then turned around and sold it sometime after that incident. I believe this is a plausible story since the body mounts look good. The title says 1982 with 62k miles, but it now has 65k. This car has some surface rust, and needs a lot of little things done, but mostly just some TLC. I replaced the fenders, painted it, had the seats fixed, put on new brakes, gas tank, tires, and harness. It starts, runs, drives.
