Description of 1968 Chevrolet C-10

Today, I am putting up for auction our 1968 Chevy shortbed pickup that I bought for my wife, but she refuses to learn a manual shift so it has to go. This is a very nice driving pickup truck and would make a safe ride for kids and grownups alike. It has a clean title and is mechanically sound and features, nbsp;'like new' wide rubber This truck was bought 2 years ago this summer where it was restored in Phoenix, AZ . I drove it 1200 plus miles home and had a blast. She is no 'hotrod' but will squeal the tires if you want. The ransmission shifts perfectly and the brake rotors are great as well as a new brake reservoir, pads and master cylinder.

No rust whatsoever, but before we go much further, it is not a Boyd Coddington restoration, but a solid restoration, nonetheless. A typical restoration that your average middle class person would and could afford. The matte black finish itself will attest to how straight the truck is. It does have some minor issues like the small crease I accidentally put in the drivers door (pictured) as well as the speedometer is not accurate. When I bought this truck I was told it had just had a rebuilt engine. I don't think I can prove that either way.

It has 5 spoke 'Boss' rims, slightly lowered profile with the badges, gas fill tube, nbsp;mirrors, reflectors and antennae 'shaved'. The truck is fitted with an aluminum billet steering column. The bed and bed walls have been spray lined. The gas fill tube was relocate back to the left side rear with a hidden spring operated door kit. The front bumper is rust free and also painted matte black. Has 'blue dot' tail lights. This truck has NO heater core. The room was best used to retro-fit air-conditioning and now the glove box is about 3" deep but is well done. After all, it was built in Phoenix. There is nothing wrong with the truck that I need to get rid of it, it just is dead weight since mama won't drive it and we had been using it as a Sunday driver only. I can send images of the engine compartment which is very clean and in matte black, or any other area by request. I have done my best to represent this truck for what it is and I am not interested in misrepresenting it in any way. Contact me with any questions and I will sure try to answer them for you if I can.
