You are looking at California central valley one family owner 1950 Chevy 3600 flatbed truck. This truck belongs to my neighbor and good friend- he asked me to put it on eBay for him. It was purchased new by his father in 1950 at Smith Chevrolet in Turlock, CA. When his father passed, the vehicle was handed down. My neighbor has had the truck for about 35 + years and it has always been kept in a shop or garage. During this time the truck has been meticulously maintained. There are a few scratches in the paint and one minor ding in the left front fender ( as shown in the picture ). It looks great for a 30 year old paint job. About 30 years ago, the original engine and transmission were removed. A 327 small block Chevy from a 1968 Camaro was was installed along with a turbo 400 transmission.Gearing was changed in the rear end as well. It also has a working A/C, power steering and tilt wheel. The original heater/ blower unit and original radio come with the truck.
