Description of 1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Was an original 6000 mile LeFrance fire truck has most of the fire truck equipment removed. Still has searchlights & PTO. Water Tank has been removed and a wooden bed was built over the area. Aluminum Diamond plate tailgate with chrome hinges and chain built in side-mount spare tires added and pin-striped to match the factory pin-striping on truck and wheels. Fire Department name carefully removed from doors. Added Defroster hose and rebuilt the master cylinder. Cleaned and sealed gas tank added fuel filter cleaned and clear-coated floorboard. Painted running boards. Original paint on truck is in good condition for it's age. No rust. Still original Red paint on undercarriage. Vehicle mechanical drive-ability is excellent. Starts great in any weather. Runs and drives like new. Tires have lots of tread. Everything works well. Truck is GREAT fun to drive take to the lumber yard department store friends house or car show.
