Description of 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

1970 monte carlo. I bought this car back in 2004 (original California car) with theintentionsof restoring it. I have done many things over the years. I have only had the pleasure of driving this car only about 3 miles!!!! Over the years when it could I drive it around the yard to keep thefluids moving. When I got the car it hadhydraulicson it. The first thing I did was remove and replace the complete suspension A arms (upper and lower) torsions bars etc....Also new aluminum rims and new tires rims will need polishing but NOOOO marks on the rims. Then I removed the interior. It used to be green. Ipurchaseda complete new black interior from YEAR ONE including a new centerconsolewith the shifter. I also installed a newsteeringcolumnwithout the shifter on it. I started replacing the new interior. The headliner needs to be installed (brand new one in the box included) the sidepanelsneedto be replaced and the rest of thepillartrim. I gotnewdoorpanelsand had them painted black. I did get new black door pulls and arm rests.Thehandlesare new and the window crank handles too.The car used to be a 350 bench seat car. I then installed a freshlyrebuilt454 motor with a 400 tranny. I just (yesterday) installed a new 750edelbrockcarb that needs to be finished installing witch I might do!!! I also yesterday installed a new 65k volt aluminumdistributoras well. That too will need to be dialed in That too I might do.Thecar will run once those two items are done. The car run GREAT two months age before I borrowed the carb anddistributor. The old carb didn't have a choke so a new hot line will need to be ran to the carb. The car has a new TRUEDUALflowmasterexhaust from the headers all the way out the rear. I did all new rotors and all new brakes too. The paint is not the greatest on this car I think it looks cool "old school" but if you want it perfect then you will need to repaint it. It also needs new hood hinges (typical of all old chevys) The doors close like new no weak hinges you will also have to install the new locks (included)!!!!!!!!! Includedin the trunk photos are new in the package weather striping for the complete car around the doorswindows and the trunk. Also is a new trunk mat hood insulation matchrometrim around the wheel wells and the completechrometrim thatgoesaroundthe bottom of the car (10 piece)NO RUST only smallareasof surface rust intypicallocations!!!!I wouldconsidera trade for a corvette or a harley!! Call me for more info @ 702-595-47-24I'm not the greatest at fine tuning the carb or thedistributor I do have thetoolshere if you buy it and come in person and want to fiddlewith it I have no problem with that I would supply the beer and pizza too!!! I added a "start button" that ishiddenin the ashtray. It is only bypassed at the starter so if you choose to remove it then all you need to do is switch the wire that is already at the starter. This was an original A/C car. It does not have the compressor or the brackets but it does have the dash A/C control.
