Description of 1979 Chevrolet Camaro |
| 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 454 LS6 – 6spd (Tremec T-56). Big Block transplant 454 LS6 – Fast Fast Fast 49000 miles over the counter 454 CU IN / 450HP LS6 balanced and blue printed. Heads were ported and polished. Has brand new Tremec T-56 close ratio 6spd with less than 500 miles on it with a heavy duty clutch and pressure plate. the rear is the original with a new 3.55 posi in it. The paint is of good quality but it is not show quality there is no surface rust on the body or frame. The trunk is all original and has the original space saver spare & bottle. Interior is all original including the carpet (carpet is worn) & original floor mats. It has power steering power brakes tilt steering wheel power windows & door locks has an after market AM FM CD player. The car is extremely quick and drives very well. This is probably only one of a handful of 2nd generation Camaro’s with a 454 Big Block motor and a Tremec T-56 6 Spd transmission in the country!! This is the Z28 Chevy should have made! |
