Description of 1968 Chevrolet Corvette ORIGINAL PAINT - 25,024 ORIGINAL MILES - A TRUE SU

1968 CHEVROLET CORVETTE SURVIVOR - DOCUMENTS BEYOND IMAGINATION - ORIGINALLY BOUGHT BY THE GRANDSON OF LEVI STRAUSS THE BLUE JEAN MOGUL FROM NAVATO, CALIFORNIA - SIMPLY INCREDIBLE - FINEST AVAILABLE ! You are looking at a stunning 1968 Chevrolet Corvette with a 427 big block car, with Automatic 3 Hydromatic Transmission. The car is both a fantastic driver and its lineage is the finest I have seen in my 37 years in the business. This car has many documents as it comes with the protecto plate as well as an entire book of receipts, extensive history and too much to even list. The car was originally bought by Leon Strauss, the grandson of Levi Strauss the BLUE JEAN INVENTOR and famous philanthropist. The car was bought new at Schumann Chevrolet in Navato, California just down the street from the original Blue Jean factory in Navato. The car has 25, 24 ORIGINAL MILES AND I CAN PROVE IT. Call Barry to discuss 561-251-7077. Leon passed away in 1973 and the car was put into storage by the family until the early 1980's. The car was then pulled from storage by the family and taken right to the Chevrolet dealer and driven once in a while by family members. Finally on June 4th, 2002 the car was sold to Corvette enthusiast Eric Larson. The personalized tags TEDLE4 were removed. DMV then issued new plates to Eric upon completion of the transfer, 4XSP451. Very rare to find one with this type of documentation as the car is an incredible investment at this price level. Call Barry to discuss. 561-251-7077 I have been in the business for 37 years and now in retirement I seek out the best of the best. The NUMBERS ARE MATCHING and so are every other component on the car, this is the type I would sell to a corvette collector . I have both sets of original keys along every document imaginable. The options are the following: 427/390 HP with a rare Automatic transmission, T- tops and a removeable rear window. Power steering, Power Brakes, its original AM/FM radio. The car also has Soft Ray tinted glass, as well as T-tops with their original storage BLUE bags. The car is also the first year of the removable rear glass. When Eric bought the car with 24, 20 miles at the time, he once again began to concentrate on the mechanics of the car, as well as portions of the interior. He replaced the carpets with OEM carpets as well as the 3 compartments behind the seats, which must be done when you replace carpeting. He also had the seats redone in original OEM covers replacing the springs and foam. The rest remains original as far as I can see.
