Description of 1971 Chevrolet C-10

You are bidding on a unique Chevy pickup that has been restored to use not just take to shows. The bed was coated with a liner so that you can use it to haul ice chests and folding chairs and head out to the lake or bring homefertilizeror whatever else you need this pickup to do. Any rust that was found has been cut out and replaced - there is no bondo anywhere in this truck and all the metal is GM not reproduction. There are no exterior rear view windows installed though I do have a set of original style mirrors if you want them. The paint is Victory Red that had clear mixed in the final coat to provide a satin finish which makes this truck stand apart from all the others. The only care it needs is to be washed with soap and water then go over it with a detailer to make it glow more than it already does. It never needs wax and it doesn't show dirt much at all. This truck left the factory as a short wheelbase so the chassis has not been cut and spliced like a lot of other shorties you see out there. Even though the rear end could be lowered more with a C-notch kit I just couldn't bring myself to cut the frame. The original six cylinder three on the tree has been replaced with a 350 V8 coupled with a rebuilt 700R4 4 speed transmission and it is a fun drive. The windshield and back glass has been replaced. The front grill and insert are in excellent shape. The inside door panels are genuine Chevy panels from a CST model. The wiring has been replaced and all the lights and gauges work with the exception of the speedometer which would require a different tail section to drive the mechanical connection. Windshield wiper and horn work. All the brake lines have been replaced and it stops great and straight - disk brakes up front and drums in the rear. The suspension has been upgraded to Ride Tech air ride and is electronically controlled so you have 3 preset ride heights with a digital display of the pressure on a; corners. It also has tubular control arms and the wheels are Coys C5's 18 and 20".The seat is a hard to find "buddy bucket" set up from 67-68 Chevy trucks. It allows seating for three when required or the backrest folds down to be used as an armrest. The lower seat section lifts up to reveal a storage compartment. The carpet is new as is the dash pad and gauge bezel. It also has a Vintage Air setup to keep you as cool as you look during summertime cruising.Front and rear bumpers are new replacements and look great. The battery has been relocated to the passenger side frame under the bed so the engine compartment is clean and doesn't have unsightly wire looms running everywhere. There is also a filler panel which covers the gap between the grill and the radiator support. The radiator has been replaced with a new aluminum one. This is a great running terrific running truck which will get the compliments wherever you go.Compare this truck against the others and see if they offer everything this truck does - new paint air air ride buddy buckets tilt steering column and 20" wheels and you'll see the value this truck offers.I also have a set of 20" Intro Pentia billet wheels as shown in one picture for $3000 more if desired. I also have a torque monster 406 ci small block with front runner available for $5000 more if you want to add more scoot.https://youtu.be/EOquJYOrZYIPlease - serious bidders only. Don't ask for the reserve get permission from your spouse first and have your money ready to go before you bid. I'll make the truck available to all interested parties or their representatives for inspection. The truck is sold as-is where-is with no warranties expressed or implied.Emails will be answered promptly. Thanks for your consideration and good luck finding a better truck for less.
