| I purchased this beautiful 1970 SS 454 Chevelle Clone in April of 2012 at Mecum Auctions with my 2 year old son and my 6 month old son I just no longer have the time to use it as often as I would like to. This is a solid and very beautiful car. Please read the full description below. This car is my baby and deserves a good home with someone who will love it as much as I do.This car is a great cruiser drives great with the windows up and AC blowing cool or with the windows down and the wind blowing in your face.Recently completed by the previous owner was a full restoration including all mechanicals and cosmetics.. . .era correct 454 engine exhaust suspension transmission complete new interior new dash console headliner seats door panels steering wheel radio trunk lining wheels tires etc. The odometer only showed less than 10 miles on it when I purchased the car and currently has 728 miles. I can't say enough about the beauty of this car. It will turn every head it passes I promise that.The car was born as a 1970 350 Chevelle Malibu and now rules the road as one of the most beautiful clones you will ever see. I have the original protect-o-plate and trim sticker for the car so the original history is fully identified. . .engine code transmission code rear axle code dates assembly plant information and original options (all shown on the original protect-o-plate). I also have a duplicate window sticker from 1970 showing the original purchase price of $4067.90. I have all of the receipts for any work I have done to the car since 2012 (new holly carb new spark plugs wires new 3:73 rear end gears). I have a few other brochures and paperwork too. The chrome is near perfect the interior is 100% perfect under the hood is very impressive and almost perfect condition the under carriage appears perfect and the exterior is near perfect. There are one or two extremely minor chips in the white paint which have been touched up and can barely be seen. There is however a decent chip in one of the front stripes which I haven't gotten repaired yet (appx. the size of a quarter) but it should be an easy repair You can see it in the pictures.This car is being Sold locally as well and i have the right to end the auction at anytime please email me with any questions |
