Description of 1966 Chevrolet Nova

CARProject car that I bought and was going to build simple Drag/street car.No pink slip bill of sale out of Calif system!What you see is what you get. The car and parts in trunk and hood is off no bumpers. Motor and trans as described below.Interior gutted. All windows good and go up and down correctly have old inner door trim panels for a pattern only no other interior trim. Rear window out but good. A onepiecedash panel started notcompleted.Car still has complete factory wire harness in it. Turn signal wire loom to steering column is only area that was cut.Rust rear upper package as seen but repairable. The rear trunk area not to bad surface rust except rear floor behind left rear wheel well no other rust thrus I can see myself. Rust moderate left windshieldpillarouter. Interior floor no rust thru. Some scale and surface rust under drivers feet but treatable with like Pour 51 rust treatmentVery decent sheetmetal. Nice hood and left front fender. The rf fender was bent and has been roughed out onlydefinitelyusable. Rt doors and quarter good. Nice grill and decent headlamp doors. Rear taillamp assemblies are decent but not perfect. Minor dents left rear door and left rear quarter.Trunk lid at key cylinder needs repair. Also rear lower body panel is repairable as is but comes with a new rear lower and upper bodypanelaftermarket parts. The inner front unibody cleaned and undercoated no rust. Roof is good just underside scale rust.Rear end is factory 10 bolt with possibly 308 rear gear non posi. 5 lug chevy bolt pattern allaroundwith drum brakes. Hasdriveshaftand originalaluminum2 speedpowerglidetrans. Trans oil looks and smells good I have a pan kit that will go with. Also have correct factory v8 motor mount brackets that bolt to unibody to accept small block factory mounts.Wheels are chrome modular with very decent tires. I tried many rear wheels and tire combinations to get the biggest rear tire on the car that would clear inner mono leaf spring and outer quarter panel and wheel house. These wheel have like 5 inch backspace so thatthereis good clearance.MOTORNot sure what year I was told from the guy I bought it from he bought from dealer in about 2005 put it in his C10 chevy pickup. Truck was in accident and was totaled. He pulled the motor and put in his storage area.He said had less than 15000 miles. It looks great inside valley and valve covers very clean. Its a 350 crate motor rated (according to block number 10066036) a 250 horse 360 lbs torque motor as sold. I have added a Edelbrock Torker 2 manifold rated at (2500 thru 6500 rpm band). Has rebuiltHolley modified 3310 750vacuumcarburetorwithdual fuel blocks and choke hsg removed. 72 76 jets new power valve-needles and seats full blue gasket set and clear bowl sights. Headers are new and correct for the 66 thru 67 nova v8application. Motor will come with factory HEI distributorstarternew flex plateandalternator.Should make about 290 hp from the additions. Motor comes with standit'sold but works.Motor will need the correct oil pan to install motor to clear steering cross arm. On ebay for just under $100.00 it will need also correct oil pump and pickup for this pan application.Note the intake and valve covers are just lightly bolted on to show motor complete will need to be installed correctly with gaskets etc. I have not started motor myself.SUMMARYCar would make cool daily driver or super simple 12 second ET racer. Car is very light. its a project. Will help with loading I have sold many cars on Ebay.
