Description of 1989 Chevrolet Camaro

NOTE: THE VIN NUMBER USED ON THISADVERTISING DOES NOTBELONG TO ANY OF THE TWO CAMAROS HERE. Ebay makes me put a number here so I had to find a number to put here. Reason being is: I am a truck driver and I am not at home and I don't have anybody there to get the VIN numbers for me.Hello everyone!!! Thanks for looking at my ad.For Sale:82 pace car 4 speed manual and an89 RS camaroI am selling my 2 camaros. I bought these 2 vehicles with the plans of restoring them however I got a job offer on east coast and I am very happy with it and I do not intend to go back to Montana to live again. As I am moving out of the state I do not have a place to keep these vehicles so unfortunately I have to let them go. I thought that it would be better if I used the money that I was going to put into the cars put it into buy a house anyway since housing is so expensive on east coast. So here it goes:1982 pace car 4 speed manualI know for a fact that this 4 speed manual is a rare to come by. I have heard many times that Chevy only made 363 units of the 4 speed manual I just don't know how true this is. This car has almost 89K miles on its dash but I can't prove it is original but the owner who I bought it from said the miles are original. The car is 95% complete and it ran up to early last year. Now the engine turns but it does not run.The car has matching numbers to engine and transmission. The engine is 100% stockThe car as you can see needs full restoration. I had everything lined up to restore it myself but the guy I was working with lost his father and he took off and no one knows his about... As I said I also found a job out side of the state that I am moving out; due to this all of a sudden change in my life I decide to sell instead keeping them for I have no idea when I will have a chance to touch them again and I do not have space to keep them.I also have a 1982 set of pace car original sticker with receipts dated as 1989 missing only 4 stickers. These are rare to find. I bought them for almost 1000.00. I am sure they worth more because they only make replicas of these sticker and again these are the original pace car stickers. The 89 RS:I bought this car to restore and make it manualI bought a 5 speed from an 88 IROC-Z I got all that takes to get the tranny swapped with 2 things missing: flying wheel and clutch.I took the interior apart and the car is now a rolling chassis. the 305 ran well last year but I have not started for about 9 months. So again it has no interior. The seats are inside the pace car and the rest of the trim I have at the house in Great Falls Montana. The interior of this RS is about 90% complete missing mostly screws and plastic plugs and few trim pieces. You will need a new carpet. The 700r4 tranny is slipping. You will get the 5 speed tranny pedals slave cylinder everything to make it manual except for the flying wheel and clutch. The auction is for both camaros and they need to be hauled away. All tires are flat. You got to bring a car hauler and I will pay for the tow to push it on to your trailer.I should be home within 6 weeks and I want to advertise both now to reach as many people as possible and hopefully a potential buyer.Again both of these vehicles are for project I got both clear titles in my hands ready to go. This is a great father and son project or a do-it-yourself project for the summer.89 RS body condition: The 89 RS has superficial rust in few isolated spots I myself don't see anything that could be a cancer or make the body bad; conversely the body on the RS is straight with 2 small stress cracks on the roof about 3/4 to 1" long. The 82 Pace car has a good size rusted spot where the battery used to be. It has few other rusted spot but where the battery was I consider as a cancer to the car. But nothing that compromises the body itself. You may need a 1 1/2 foot or less for sheet metal work and the rest a good sand blast and/or sanding machine would take car of itOther than these thing I listed both bodies are straight and will not take much to be restored. I have tried to describe both to the best of my knowledge I am not home at the moment so I will not be able to look into it to answer a detailed question about the car but a general question I will do the best I can to answer you. Thanks for looking and please contact me with questions at 781-249-9280Have a great day. Take care
