Description of 1970 Chevrolet Impala

Up for sale is my jet black 1970 Chevy Impala two door hardtop coupe. It has a small block 350 bored out .030 over (355ci) V-8. It also has a brand new Holley 700 4-bbl double pumper carburetor a brand new 2200 stall converter which transfers power to the TH350 3 speed automatic transmission then to the posi-traction rear end.The engine rebuild included an Iskanderian hydraulic racing camshaft and hydraulic lifters. The heads were completely rebuilt at a local racing shop with over 40 years of experience. Brand new dual exhaust. Between the racing camshaft headers and dual Flowmaster 40s this car sounds AWESOME!!This car is in excellent overall condition and has NO RUST. The frame is rock solid and all components are fully functional. Drives and steers like a new car. I installed a front disc brake conversion kit and rebuilt the motor last year. It has two leather bucket seats in front and a newly upholstered back seat. The car has a horseshoe shifter on the center console. Rally wheels with trim rings and spinner center caps are correct. It also has four almost new 235/75R/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires with about 95% tread left. When I bought the car the previous owner had put "SS" insignia and emblems all over the car. However Chevy didn't make a Super Sport Impala in 1970 so I removed all of that. I purchased and had a body shop install the correct 350 and Impala emblems on the front fenders. Unfortunately the previous owner had also installed the SS on the rear bumper using screws. So rather than take it off and leave ugly offset holes in the bumper I decided to leave it on.All of these upgrades took place from April to August 2014. I barely put 200 miles on the new motor going to a few local cruise-ins before I had to put the car away for the winter. The odometer does not work. It is stuck. So unknown miles on the car's body but less than 200 on the rebuilt motor.I'm including a custom made $150 car cover. Also installed a brand new kick down cable last month.Condition:There is NOTHING missing from this car. NO RUST NO LEAKS. Everything functions as it should and recently passed NYS Inspection the first week of May. Paint is very nice I'd say 8/10 with some minor deficiencies. Rear bumper could stand to be re-chromed. There is an aftermarket Pioneer stereo installed under the dash on the passenger's side. Works great and has nice sound. An original AM radio is included in the sale and will come with the car (have no idea if it works) along with any other odds and ends that I have for it. Be advised this is NOT a trailer queen but a very respectable daily driver. Turns heads and gets compliments everywhere it goes. All you have to do is start it drive it and enjoy the attention.I have posted a video of the car on Youtube. Please go to this link (if it doesn't workplease copy and paste it into your browser search bar):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYVmyPT3-g4&feature=em-upload_ownerA list of new parts installed last year is available via email. My reserve is very fair considering the condition and rarity of this car and how it's been updated. You will be very happy when you get it.A non-refundable $500 deposit via Paypal is required within 24hrs. of the end ofthe auction.Full payment within 7 days of auction's end via cash or bank check.
