Description of 1967 Chevrolet Impala

Car is in overall good shape for its age. It is a true 327 SS Automatic car with factory air conditioning! Title and odometer show 67k original miles. It does have its share of bumps and bruises but is very intact. Car is an Arizona car and is pretty rust free. There has been some bodywork on the passenger side quarter as I have pictured. Passenger fender does have a sizeable dent and is creased. Trunk floor will either need to be replaced or patched as there is some rust and pinholes. The motor does run when hotwired and carburetor filled up. No power is getting inside to the key. Should be a pretty easy fix. Interior is pretty complete. Front door panels are mostly gone I do have the metal top rail and one complete door panel. Headliner has been removed but bows are still intact. Seats have been reupholstered at some point. The car has been painted a couple times but was originally Nantucket Blue which is still visible on various places around the vehicle. I have included pictures of the VIN and data tag for decoding purposes. This is a great project that is ready to be restored. I have a clear AZ title notarized and ready to go.

UPDATE: THE ENGINE CODE HAS BEEN LOCATED AND SHOWS T08J7UTB. THIS IS A 305 ENGINE FROM 1977. THE CAR IS NON-NUMBERS MATCHING. A DATE CODE 327 ENGINE CAN BE FOUND FOR THE YEAR AND DROPPED IN AS CHEVROLET DID NOT ADOPT VIN NUMBER/MOTOR MATCHING UNTIL 1968.
