Description of 1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS

Up for auction is a solid 1970 RS/SS split bumper Camaro. This is a perfect candidate for a restoration or pro-touring conversion. This is a real RS/SS split bumper Camaro! The body is extremely solid and originally comes from California. The floors are in excellent condition with no bad rust or holes. Both 1/4 panels have been replaced and currently the passenger side has damage in the very rear section which will need to be repaired. This car does have a 350 cu. in engine but it is not the original numbers matching engine. The interior shows its age and will need some restoration. The headliner is good and like new seats are decent door panels and dash need work. The original interior was dark green it now has a black interior. The car runs and drives. Paint is in overall good condition for a driver it is not in show condition. If you are looking for a decent running solid project car for a restoration this is the one! These bodies are becoming very popular and are difficult to find in good condition without a ton of rust and previous work. You should be able to get a good feeling of the overall condition of this vehicle by looking at all the pictures.
