This car is a great example of the first year for mid-year Corvettes. The current owner bought it from a 91 year old lady in Florida. The car has been kept very stock with Radial Tires added for improved drivability. See the engine rebuild and expense notes in pictures. Current owner estimates he may have driven the car a couple hundred miles per year.

Paint-

The paint is extremely smooth and shiny, nd seems to match well all the way around. It is polished out very nicely, nd no question was professionally done. It has held up extremely well which is a true testament to the quality of the work that was done. There is tiny nick on the left headlamp cover, op edge of the left fender, nd left rear corner of the hood as well. Along with a little spider webbing in a two inch area in front of the antenna, see pictures) along with a few imperfections that can only be seen under bright florescent lights, n the top surface. We do not know exactly when the repaint took place.

Body- The body is very nice and straight, nd correct. Similar to when they where new. We do not see any cracks or damage in the body, nd the fits around the convertible top cover, oth doors, ood, nd the headlamp coverings all appears to look very uniform. (see pictures)

Bright Work- The chrome and stainless surrounding any glass areas all seems to be well secured. It is very shiny, nd in nice condition. The exception being one small dimple in the middle of the molding, n the right side of the windshield. (see pictures) Upon opening the doors you will see the chrome finish on the vent windows does have some light pitting. (see pictures) The front and rear bumpers look much like that of a car only a couple years old, ith hardly any wear showing. Check out the individual emblems on the car in the pictures.

Glass- The glass is in extremely nice condition, uch less wear than you typically would see. The windshield appears almost as new. The windshield is a replacement by Pilkington. The side vents and the side windows all have Safely Plate, ith an LOF emblem that you can see in the pictures. All glass is very clear with no discoloring, elamination, ull-eyes, racks, r wiper marks.

Top- The top certainly appears as a newer top. We don't know the tops exact age, ut the white is very bright, nd has very nice color with no fading. The stitching is intact all the way around, nd has no signs of wear or coming undone. The rear window is very clear with no signs of yellowing. The black cloth on the bottom side shows very little age. It has a nice crisp dark coloring, nd a very nice uniform fresh looking flat black cloth paint on the metal portions of the frame.

Interior- The interior shows well and may or may not be mostly all original, ut nothing stands out to be a replacement/new. The visors all seem stiff, nd without breakdown on the interior of them. They have good structure and covering. Behind the visors the rear view mirror mount, nd the top latches do have some light pitting. The seats show minimal wear with good color and good sheen, nd feel very supple yet, ithout the typical damage on the seat back you often see. The door panels are of similar condition. The arm rest are solid but the covering that was on the arm rest supports has pretty well worn off, nd may have a little bit of pitting to the window cranks. The carpeting is mostly older, et in good condition with minimal fading and wear. The dash on the upper rounded side is in very nice condition. The gauges and the chrome faces do show a fair amount of normal wear, s the chrome covering has worn off. The steering wheel outside black rim is all one solid piece without cracking. The bright work spokes are in nice condition, ith a small amount of wear showing to the horn cap. The glove box (at just the right angle) you can see the plastic on the outside edges, s well as the shiny face has slightly cracked. The console and its bright work all appears to be intact, ut showing some wear do to age. Please see pictures for best details! In the storage compartment behind the seats you will see the jack that is included.

Tires and Wheels- The tires rims and hubcaps, esides a few little pits or bumps show very little wear.

Engine and Transmission-The current owner has made a very healthy investment to have the engine and transmission professionally rebuilt, nd brought the engine compartment back to original as much as possible. I didn't see anything under that hood that looks to be out of original design, esides hose clamps, nd battery. Look close at the pictures of each component and its reconstruction, s well as the underside of the hood its self. There is much attention to detail!

Chassis- Upon inspection, nd reviewed by the owner, here does not appear to be any frame perforation that exist. Its a good example of a very "left natural"Corvette chassis. You can see the floor pans have not been hit or beat up, nd do not show any damage which is rare on a car that sits so low. There has been some power steering hoses replaced, s well as emergency brake cables. There is some seepage that has accumulated around the rear end and transmission. Owner told us when cars sits all winter he has noticed it will leave a few drops from the transmission, nd maybe from the rear end.

Mechanical-True mileage on this car is not known, dometer was not working when the car was bought with 97806 miles showing in 2007.
