Description of 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Up for auction is a 1973 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Over the last 6 years, his car has been completely dis-assembled and rebuilt.I purchased this car about 7 years ago. I decided that I wanted to do a complete restoration on my favorite year Corvette. I was able to find aCorvette convertible in need of a whole lot of care and work.Upon inspection it was noted that the car needed a new frame among everything else. The body was in excellent condition. That was the start of a 3 year project.

Once the car had been totally dis-assembled it was decided that it was an good time to rebuild the engine, ransmission and rear end. If anyone out thee has ever taken a project of this size on, ou know that along with replacing major components you need to replacetons of clips, rake lines, oses or anyother parts that wear out, uch as brake pads, ody mounts on and on.

To add a littlepower to this car, purchased an Elderbrock setupwith matching 4 barrel carborator, liminator intake and Cam. The Cam has a slight lift but not a lobe. Idles beautifully at the light and is extremely responsive at take off. Estimated Horsepower is somewhere in the high 300 H.P. range. The car has a nice rumble but not loud and obnoxious. The car has a 2 year old paint job, ew interior, ew convertible top, ew exhaust and just about any other wearable part you can think of. The car does not rattle or creek like some older Corvette's. The rear leaf spring has been reworked with new leafs added or replaced. The engine also has a new Mallory HEI ignition. The drive train is all matching numbers.

If you are looking for a close as possible new andfast1973 Stingray convertible, ere it is. It was originally a blue car converted to GM bright white. Did not like the shade of Blue that year. What can I say, just don't care for blue cars.I have a folder of receipts which till this very day, refuse to add up. The car also comes with an after market shop manual.I have included step by step pictures of this monumental project. The car has refurbished exhaust manifolds. I was going to do headers but when I received the flanges were welded on wrong, o I sent them back. The paint is gorgeous. One small flaw wasthe spring for the gas door had not been put on yet and someone opened the gas door scratching the paint. I did repair it but it is still slightly noticeable. Car is available for sale only in the USA and Canada. I have not listed all of the new parts on this car because they are so numerous.

This is the 3rd or 4th car I have sold on Ebay. One feedback stated automobile was better tan expected. If you check my score it is 100%. Terms of payment are wire transfer to my bankand then you receive the title overnight. There is no warranty orrefunds of any kind. There is a $500.00 deposit within 48hrs. of winning the auction. Again, his car is a frame off restoration with a new frame. There may be an adjustment here and there to your liking. These are some of the most difficult cars to restore (and expensive). I checkedHaggerty's website for pricing and I am at the low end estimate for a#2 car and that's because it is not totally stock.I am finishing up my last project (a 440 Cuda and need the space). Thanks for looking!
