Description of 1970 Chrysler Newport

This auction is for my 1970 Chrysler newport 4dr sedan. The body has no rust or rot and no filler anywhere. Underneath is as solid as new. Interior is fair to good with little tear on drivers front seat and holes in front kick panels from previous owner's stereo. The dash is uncut and nice still. The vinyl roof was removed when car was repainted many years ago and a textured spray used with false seams to look like an original roof style. The 383 v8 runs and pulls great and it floats down the highway. The engine is a 2bbl carb setup and ignition has been changed to the Pertronix ignitor system. The original points set will be in glove box in case of emergency. The tires, rakes, uffler, tarter, nd fuel pump are all very recent. All it really needs is a driver. The only parts missing that I am aware of are the trunk lock, nd antenna aerial. The radio is still intact and the fuel gauge does not work. I have seen it work once or twice in last few years so it may be just a loose wire somewhere. The mileage is original and the title states that. I am weaning down my collection to make things easier and spend more time with the other cars. I just do not have time to even drive this one much anymore. I think I put 25 miles on it in last 2 years. No reserve. Starting bid can win the car.Buyermust make deposit by paypal within 48 hours of sale and vehicle must be removed within 30 days of payment. I will be happy to assist with loading and will keep the battery charged and ready to go.Please do not bury me with questions on last day of auction. You have all week to ask and give me time to answer properly.Thank you and good luck.
