Description of 1986 Chrysler LeBaron

1986 CHRYSLER LEBARON MARK CROSS CONVERTIBLE - GOOD CONDITION - LOW RESERVE!

Up for auction is my 1986 Chrysler LeBaron Mark Cross Convertible. Please read the listing carefully. I have included as much information as I have on the car. This is a 29 year old car and I want to be 100% honest about its condition. If you have any questions, lease just ask. Similar cars sell for $5,000. This car has a buy it now well below that, nd a reserve much lower than that. I'm hoping to find a nice new home for this unique car.

My husband bought this car for me last year as a fun summer car. It's a nice car in good condition for its age, ut unfortunately, t's just not really my style and so I don't drive it.

Thepaint is original and in excellent shape. with lots of luster. It's still a nice, hiny car. The interior is also in really nice shape. It has cream-colored leather seats. They havesome cracking to them, ut for their age are in very nice shape and are actually very comfortable to sit in.The car has good tires on it and the original wire wheels, hich are all in tact and in good shape. The chrome on the car is in niceshape and still has a lot of shine to it. The car has a tan convertible top in good condition - no rips or tears. It is the original top and has some stitching around the rear window that is coming apart. It needs to be re-stitched. The top itself works fine and goes up and down easily.

Rust - there is no rust on the body of the car and to my knowledge there never has been. The only exception is that there are just a couple of very tiny bubbles on the trunk near the LeBaron badge. Underneath, he car does have some rust on the undercarriage and in the front wheel wells. It has spent its entire life in Ohio. It was undercoated when new. It's not visible juststanding and looking at the car, ut if you get up close and personal with it,it's there.

All of the power options on the car work - the AM/FM radio and cassette player all work. The power windows all work except for the little quarter window on the passenger side. It is in the full up position and does not roll down. The power driver seat works 100%. Cruise control works, ll instrumentation in the dash is digital and works.

The engine is good shape. The car starts up good and does not leak or smoke. The turbocharger is in good working condition. The transmission works fine, ut makes a small grinding noise when put into reverse sometimes. Despite the noise, he car backs up and works fine. The only other mechanical issues with the car are that it needs a new right front brake caliper (it sticks) and the rear drum brakes stick on it sometimes when it sits for a long time. They unstick pretty easily.

** Because the front brake caliper sticks and needs to be replaced, recommend that the buyer pick up this vehicle with a trailer. The caliper should be repaired before driving the car. **

I'd really like to find someone who can appreciate this car - unfortunately that's just not me. I would be happy to answer any questions you have that are not answered above. Happy bidding!

This car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if the car is sold before the auction ends or car is purchased through Buy It Now.
