Description of 1954 Chrysler New Yorker

This car came out of a barn in Eastern Washington where it is very dry. The interior is all new including the headliner. The tires, rakes wheel cylinders, hocks also new as is the carburetor and gas tank. The enine is a 331 hemi that runs great. The power steering works great. The car is equipped with power brakes but the booster is not currently hooked up but the brakes work great even without it. The tranny shifts good and the car has only very minor oil leaks. The paint on the car looks OK but not super Shiney, t does present itself well and does look nice. The chrome on the car is a all there and most of it looks very nice though the fender spear on the passenger side could use some straitening. The pictures will say more than I can. The exhaust system is new and dual to the back of the car.. The rust issues I think are mostly under the car and are pretty minor, couple of body mounts and along a rocker panel, ut I did not see any outer body holes. I am selling this car for a friend of mine, t is not my car and I have not been over every inch of it but I did drive it and goes down the road well. It's fairly zippy and the power steering would make it easy for anyone to drive. A new fuel pump from a modern 318 has been fitted to it so it starts quick and runs great.
