Description of 1956 Chrysler Imperial

1956 Chrysler Imperial Southampton coupe. Rare original survivor with some panel repainting but within survivor guidelines. Interior all original with some wear on drivers seat and includes original carpets and headliner. Interior panels excellent and has hwy way hifi unit.All power interior accessories working well and also includes power antenna and 7 button option radio with floor control. All interior chrome is perfect including an awesome steering wheel and excellent mint horn ring.Exterior color combination is quite rare and striking. All exterior chrome and stainless in excellent condition . Bumpers are original but could be chromed .75 % of paint is original and shows well. Special feature is the original Detroit Wire Wheels 15 in by 6.5 inches clad with new radial tires.
Engine and running gear operate as they should and all numbers are matching.This is a rust free Western car with no issues.This past winter all new brakes shoes and wheel cylinders where replaced completely.All backing plates where removed and cleaned and reinstalled.
