Description of 1967 Chrysler Newport

1967 Chrysler Newport "Fast Top" 2 door hardtop coupe.
Original 383-2bbl and (rebuilt) automatic, 123,000 miles.
A/C: new compressor, condensor, dryer, expansion valve. Was ice-cold last summer, lost refrigerant over Winter (original hoses).
Car was ordered with the optional white Chrysler 300 bucket seat interior. New Legendary front seats and repro armrests. Rear seat, door panels, carpet, and headliner in fair, presentable condition but should be redone. Dash pad perfect. Non-working original radio. All guages and switches work.
383 2bbl idles, accelerates, and runs as new. Idles like a sewing machine. Needs left exhaust manifold gasket. New, quiet, dual exhausts. TorqueFlite rebuilt and operates perfectly. Rest of drivetrain excellent. No leaks.
New brakes, lower ball joint, entire front suspension, steering gear checked. Has very small P.S. leak. Rear springs not sagging.
New tires on original black steel wheels and original style Chrysler "dog dish" hubcaps.
Florida car it's entire life. The trunk pan had several pinholes repaired. A small corner in the trunk lid trough was replaced with an original piece. Rest of the car is 100% rust free and entire car is all steel.
Body has no rust and has never been damaged. No bumps or dents. The previous owner did a horrible DIY paint job. It looks beautiful in pictures but in reality it needs to be brought back to metal, have a lot of block sanding, and then proper paint.
Brightwork is in excellent condition except tail light trim is oxidized.
Glass in excellent condition. Right vent window crank slips. New regulator comes with car.
In answer to the standard questions:1. Yes, you can drive it home safely anywhere in the country but I will not guarantee it.2. No, I am not interested in trades.3. No, I don't know how much for shipping.4. I will sell to anyone, anywhere, but I must have cash or legitimate payment cleared before car is released. Pickup is entirely your problem. Amtrack stops locally, Orlando airport is 90 minutes, and ports of Tampa and Miami are close by.5. Auction is no reserve and will run to its conclusion. Do not make offers.6. I will cancel any bid at my discretion without notice that I feel will not result in a successful purchase based on your history! Complain if you wish.7. I am only interested in selling my car, not in discussing how your father had one just like it, or you wish you were closer, had the money, or had the room.
