Description of 1979 Chrysler Cordoba crown coupe

This cream puff Cordoba has one of Chrysler's best color combos- White with red body piping and maroon vinyl hardtop, all in excellent condition. It has dual mirrors, special turning lights, radial whitewall tires and the very desirable wire wheels. (Spare tire is full-size & comes with the original jack and lock to prevent theft of the wire wheels.) The interior of this classic is all red- Door panels, Dashboard, Headliner, Carpets, and Corinthian Red Leather Seats, all in excellent condition. This non-smoker's car's ashtray sits just as it came from the factory- it has never seen an ash! It has COLD AIR (converted by me to 134A) and it looks and smells like a new car inside! It has power windows, power steering, power seats and Cruise Control that works.
This Classic has Chrysler's big 360 V-8 engine with its original 2 bbl carb. It starts quickly and runs smoothly. The automatic transmission shifts flawlessly and the brakes stop effortlessly. There is no Carfax because the car was built before 1981 and has a VIN of less than 17 digits.
PROVENANCE: This 1979 Cordoba was purchased by a WW2 veteran from a Chrysler dealer in 1980 with 10,000 miles on it. I got the car from the veteran's estate. At its present mileage (27,500) one can see that it has been driven less than 750 miles per year for the last 37 years. The car has been garaged by me, and I assume also by the veteran, and probably never driven in snow, considering its handsome condition. I took a few pictures of the underside of the car when it was on the lift being serviced, which I have included. The master mechanic who examined the car told me that it had anti-rust treatment (Ziebart, probably when new) and that the frame is, to quote him directly, "Like new."
On the last picture of the wire wheel & tire tread one can see that the chrome on the edge of the wheel well (passenger side) has been scraped. If you can accept this easily fixed minor blemish, please buy this car and drive it with confidence to Jay Leno's garage in California!
