They are only Original ONCE.
1949 Chrysler Town & Country "Woody" Convertible in wonderful unrestored original condition, and everything works! 59,051 miles on the odometer. Runs quiet and smooth. Production #121 of the very last run of 993 Town and Country convertibles that Chrysler ever made. Wonderful history from shows in Washington State. 3 owners since new, only 2 owners in the last 60 years. Original green paint and gray and green interior. Wood is solid. Floors and frame rails are very solid. White power top works smoothly. "Spitfire" Inline 8 cylinder motor purrs like it should, and the "PRESTO-MATIC" semi-automatic transmission has been rebuilt and is smooth and easy to shift. 5 new Goodyear wide whitewall tires (including spare).
It is difficult to explain the tactile experience of driving an original, unrestored 73 year old car, but whatever that MAGIC is, this car has it.
