Description of 1986 Chrysler Other

Lowered the No reserve to move it as i need the room because a started a numbers matching 70 chevelle project. Love to keep it but have to many cars right now.  Very nice car for the age and hard to find one nicer. I have alot more in it than the starting price. I would like to see this car go to a good home. You are looking at a very rare and endangered 1986 Chrysler Laser XT Turbo. One of only 4966 built with t-tops. Chrysler's only luxury and state of the art muscle car of the 80's and truly a collectors car only 3 year production. 72000 original documented miles. This car was special ordered by gentleman  from VanAndel & Flikkema Chrysler of Grand Rapids Mi. 1985. This car was one of his babies and he being a Professional dealer mechanic took very good care of it. He was the original owner of the car until he passed. I acquired the car last year in good condition and went to work bringing it back to great condition. The upper paint of the car was aged so the bumpers and hood and molding came off with quarter windows and the upper half of the car with the bumper covers was repainted in flash red and matched perfect. The interior was gutted to check for any floor or trunk rust damage and the floors of this Laser are perfect like the left the assembly line last week. I had the Mark Cross original leather professionally cleaned and reconditioned re installed all panels with original hardware. The headliner and visors were professionally replaced and carpet cleaned. All gauges lights /lamps A/C etc. work on the car. The t-top weatherstrip is in great shape. All original glass also. The under carriage was dealer undercoated from the factory per the VIP report from Chrysler so it is in VERY solid condition. It still retains its factory exhaust you can tell this car was not driven it the winter months and zero rust on any of the panels was found anywhere. As for the motor and trans they run flawless with plenty of power with no smoke or noises. I carefully went thru and checked the engine. Replace oil filter plugs wires rotor belts coil new oil pan and valve cover gasket. Installed new Bosch alternator and replaced the power module due to the voltage regulator being inside the module and the whole engine compartment was detailed. Trans shifts great. The brakes were gone thru and rotors resurfaced. Aftermarket wheels were put on early in its life so its wearing the original wheels and Goodyear Eagle VR50 225/50R15& tires. When i got the car in the glove box was the original owners manual warranty book many receipts dealer sticker t-top instructions and & the best part... Every time the original owner put gas in the car he wrote down mileage price per gallon cost trip and mpg. He also wrote down all the maintenance records and dates from the work he performed on the car since new. I contacted a Chrysler dealer and had them pull me a Vehicle Information Report which is pretty much a easy to read build sheet for the car. This car is in exceptional condition for its age and the goal was to preserve it and still maintain it to its original 72k mileage used condition. Small flaws on the car are... a small 5" section of the lower drivers door weatherstrip is worn from foot getting in and out missing plastic recline lever cover (trying to find one) and the rear hatch glass had louvers on it at one time and evidence of brackets is seen if your looking for it. Overall fun car to drive and a lot of head turns. I added a video. For serious inquiries or offers you can message me.
