Description of 1976 Citroen Other 2200 Pallas

1976 Citroen CX 2200 Pallas All Original. Only 12. 00 miles ( odometer reads 19. 00 km) VIN 07MC4883 To be offered at the Mecum Indy Auction Tuesday. May 12th. mid day. This two owner first-year-for-the CX car is in excellent condition. we purchased it from the original owner in 2007. when it had 5. 00 miles on it. he had kept it in his private French–themed museum and it was not driven on a regular basis. only exercised. We have driven it about 1. 00 miles per year. keeping it in excellent condition. The seats are the most comfortable seats I have ever sat on in a car. The leather is soft and supple. and you just sink right in. The car drives wonderfully. like a new car. as you would expect with a well-cared-for car with this low mileage. The only thing we have had to do is to replace all 4 spheres and use the proper LHM fluid. everything else works great. including the air conditioning which is still R12. It has an after-market radio. otherwise it is totally original. We put new tires on it when we bought it in 2007. It has one dent on the right front fender which we were told happened upon delivery in 1976. and the owner in Indiana could not get a quart of paint from the factory (because they had litres. not quarts. we have letters showing this. plus correspondence about the purchase of the car). so we never repaired it since it is a fun part of the history of the car. It comes with some of the original tools and replacement light bulbs and manuals. Original window sticker is included. as well as service receipts. Due to the issue of the odometer being in kilometers and not miles. the title reads exempt for mileage. Note that this car has power front windows but manual rear ones. I do not know why.
