| For sale here ~ A 1972 Citroen D Super station wagon/ Safari! This belongs to a friend/ customer of mine and I have worked on it for him for several years now. He recently replaced this with a gorgeous DS21 and has sadly neglected this wagon for a couple of years now. This car is listed locally as well for $5500 and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time for a local sale or if I accept a telephone offer. BY BIDDING ON THIS CAR YOU AGREE TO ALL THE TERMS OF THE AUCTION namely the car is sold 'as-is where-is' a $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction by paypal and the balance is due within 5 days max by cash bank transfer check/ etc. I can help arrange transport of this car if need be anywhere in the USA. In short - This car was being used every day until about 2 years ago. It has newer spheres and a new alternator and fuel pump. Car starts right up and hydraulics work as they should bringing the car up to ride height immediately. Main pump cycles as it should. There are no leaks of any kind in the engine transmission or hydraulics. Car runs and drives fine. Interior is a bit ratty and could use some clean up. Drivers seat has a tear. Headliner absent. the real problem with this car - There is rust in the rear inner fenders around the windows. Car was parked outside this winter/ spring and some water came in and soaked the carpet too - Floors are all still very solid (check photos from underneath) but the roof leaked in back around the windows and leaks in front where the antenna is mounted. Rear 'walls' around rear windows are rusty and will need to be repaired before they get worse. In the meantime you can drive this car every day if you wish.
