Description of 1983 Datsun Z-Series

This is my baby! I've had her for over 10 years, araged the whole time, as a cross between a daily driver and a weekend car for 7 of those years, hen the clutch died and it was winter, stored her, nd then never got around to fixing the clutch. Life has other priorities and I can't let her sit anymore. I originally bought her oneBay from a guy in texas, his car is pristine, o body rot, ome minor rust but nothing a good sanding and a new paint jobwon't fix, he car is ready to go, ou COULD in theory driver her away, ut the clutch needs replacing, hepower steering hose has a crack, ndprobablyneeds new wires and plugs. But she starts up just fine. I had a transmission guy look at it to get her up and running, uoted me $1,800 including the install of theoriginalradio. I CAN set you up with this guy and have him do the work ahead of time if you want to fly inand drive her home or something, r have a shipping company come I guess, 've never sold a car oneBay just bought one, flew to Texas, nd bought the car there after seeing how great the shape of the car was. At this point there's apatina on the paint, t can be buffed out and shined. The long story short about the paint job is that when I originally got the car, t had therear louvers which I thought were unattractive, took the bolts out as soon as I got it home and it immediately started SNOWING, ike as I had taken the last bolt off. I noticed that the paint under the louvers had been worn away and themetal was exposed, O in a panic I grabbed the only color paint I had, blue color and just sprayed the spots where the bolts had been, ust so she would't rust. The rest of the paint was fine at the time and I drove the car for years like that, justnever got around to it, O there's some blue paint on the back hatch. I know, illy, ut I was a kid then, nd after a while I forgot they were even there. The front hood is so impressive no one ever see's the hatch haha. Hey I'm an honest guy, his is the car, t's worth a LOT restored, could probably sink $3,000 into it with a paint job and sell it for $8,000 easy, ut I don't have the extra cash, o your lucky day!
Feel free to ask any questions, ome on by, he car is in my garage under a car cover safe and sound waiting for you.
