Up for auction is an excellent condition 1978 280z. This was the last year this body style was produced and is in Anniversary Bronze color. My mechanic told me that this is in car show condition, ut I need to free up space in the garage. I am happy to provide additional photos or video if required and hope to find a collector who will take care of this amazing vehicle. - High End, rofessional Paint Job in original Anniversary Bronze color. Paint is in excellent, ar show condition.
- This is a non-smoker vehicle.
- Always has been a California Car.
- Almost ALLoriginal.
- Three owners.
- Garage Kept.
- Thorough matinence records from all owners of the vehicle.
- Air condition does NOT blow cold and needs a recharge.
- rubber seal on one of the original Brake fluid reservoir caps has aged. Occasionally has a minor leak from the cap causing the float to set off the warning light. (I will include a NOS Datsun replacement cap to resolve the issue.)
- Cigarette lighter coils do not heat up, ut power is delivered to the jack (other devices will work when plugged in).
- I will include NOS interior trim plugs as some have fallen out with age.
- Some discoloration to interior Ivory trim due to aging (yellowing).
- Minor damage to driver's side interior Ivory trim (as pictured).
- Crack on dashboard (as pictured). Color is good as a dash cover has always been used. The chemicals used to create the dashboards in the late 1970's lead to early cracking on all models.
- Overall, nterior is in EXCELLENT condition. Very clean.
- Engine bay and all parts are in EXCELLENTcondition and very clean (see pictures).
- NO sign of leaks on ground. Engine does not show any oil around seal area.
- One of thefrontwindshield nozzles does not spray fluid (theoriginal plastic fluid tube looks yellowed in parts and may be blocking passage ofwindshield fluid).
- Original glass (see Datsun logo inphotos)
- Rear window glass defrosters do not seem to heat up.
- No rust in wheel wells.
- Driver's side seat has some wear damage near the lower right/side seam. Passenger side seat is excellent. Both seats had covers on for the past 20 years.

- Any notable additions or modifications to the vehicle:
- early 1980's 280zx wheels. Originalwheels did not come with the vehicle when I purchased it.
- From other photos ofother examples of the 1978 280z model, t appears that a stripe of trim is often found on the sides. This is not present on this vehicle.
- Comes with an excellent condition, intage, orking Alpine cassette deck.Original owner could not locate the originalcassette deck.
- The twooriginal speakers had deteriorated and were replaced with two 4" Alpine speakers that wereprofessionally fittedin the stock housing behind the wall panels. No modifications were made to the car forinstallation.
- After market exterior side mirrors. Pervious owner did nothave theoriginal side mirror.
- Ownership history
I am the third owner. This 280z has always been a "California car". Previous owner had it as part of a garaged collection and rarely drove it. Her father owned it previously in San Diego.

I have extensive records of service from my ownership and the previous owner. Oil and fluids have always been kept up.
- Recent service
The car recently had new KYB struts installed as the originals were close to wearing out. New alternator. NOS fusable links were installed recently. NOS parts have always been used for replacements if at all possible.
