Description of 1967 Datsun Other

Selling No Reserve.

1967 Datsun Roadster

Sweet Sleeper Tuner

This little rocket has a CA18 Det ( with a SR20 Turbo) and 5 speed

computer is a AEM ( as you know that's a 2500 computer alone)

This swap was done at a well known tuner shop in Vancouver has approx. 1500 miles on upgrade.

This is a rocket not a slow 60s Datsun ready to go downthe streetwith Serious Power.

This car was dynode at 226 HP. that's a huge movement from the 80ish factory .

WANT MORE POWER? upgrade the Turbo to a T28 ( from the T25) and have over 250 HP

If you know about these cars you know the 65 67 were a lower windshield and are becoming a rare find. they built approx. 8000 from 1965 to March 1967.

I was told by many people that a CA18 can not be put in a roadster. Guess what ... They are wrong its in it runs it drives . huge intercooler up front is the only way you see that's not factory ..

she looks stock until you hit the throttle. then HOLD ON!! Car still retains the factory rear end with the RARE alumn rear drums.

disc front .. Has 3 tops/covers :a soft top, /font>a full cover, nd the rear cover.

This is a tasteful car. new tires ... this swap cost 10G to do alone the Geometry of the steering took 3 weeks to get right .

We have all seen the prices going up fast in these 60s and 70's JPN sports cars look at the 510Sunny 240Z 260Z 280Z ( As Well as Nissans GTR 240sx ) other Japan tuners such as The Celica Supra RX2 RX3 etc...

The Datsun Sports (Datsun Fairlady in the Japanese/ Australian), as a series of roadsters produced by Nissan in the 1960s. The series was a predecessor to the Z-car in the Fairlady line, nd offered an competitor to the European MG, a rel="rel nofollow">Triumph, a rel="rel nofollow">Fiat and Alfa Romeo sports cars. The line began with the 1959 "S211" and continued through 1970 with the "SP311" and "SR311" line.

The Fairlady saw competitors follow its introduction, ith examples called the Honda S500, he Toyota Sports 800. In Japan, t represented one of three core products offered by Nissan at Japanese Nissan Dealerships called Nissan Shop, alongside the Datsun Truck and the Datsun 1000. The Datsun SRL 2000 was the 2 seat roadster that made their name. Paul Newman started his racing career in one. It had a potent 1982cc overhead cam engine with dual SU type side draft carbs and a 5 speed transmission.

Many changes were made for 1965. Though the 1.5L SP310 continued in production through January, new 1.6L R16-powered SP311 and SPL311 joined it. The new model was first shown at the 1964 Tokyo Motor Show, ut did not enter production until March 1965. The restyling was executed in part by Count Albrecht Goertz, ho would later be involved with designing the first Fairlady Z.[7] Marketed as the Fairlady 1600, r the Datsun Sports 1600 in many export markets including North America, t featured 14inch wheels and minor exterior changes.[7] The front suspension was independent.[3] The engine produced 96PS (71kW; 95hp). The hood badge said "DATSUN" in individual letters, he rear badge said "DATSUN 1600", nd the side badges said "Fairlady" (Japanese market) or "DATSUN 1600" (export market). The SP311 continued in production through April 1970
