This survivor is in excellent condition and has spent its entire life in California as evidenced by its total lack of rust. The car was purchased from the second owner, a family friend, who purchased the car in 1991. She meticulously maintained the vehicle and authorized every dealer recommended repair as shown in the service records dating back to 1991. She kept the car covered (while at work) or in the garage. The leather seats and dashboard were always covered, hence, there are no cracks or fading. As the third owner, the car has been driven less than 500 miles. In 2015, the flywheel was resurfaced, the gearbox was rebuilt with new seals and bearings, and the clutch assembly was replaced. Also, the aspirator fan was replaced, the blower fan was repaired and the A/C was serviced which blows cold! The battery was just replaced. The two-tone paint, Fox Silver and Platinum (154T), shows no signs of body work or accidents. There are a few shallow dings, most notably, one to the left and right front quarter panels. The only damage to the paint can be seen on the hood where the top coat (clear) is failing. There is one paint chip to the driver side T-top opening. The original spare tire, inflator can, wheel chocks, tools and OEM vinyl T-top covers remain with the car along with the original owner's manual and warranty booklet. The car is also equipped with a period correct Chapman-style alarm. Decoding the model number: KHLS130JFUBC1Y K = T-Top, H = L28 (engine/motor), L = Left Hand Drive, S130 = ChasisJ = Grand Luxury**This option included: 14" aluminum alloy wheels, rear window wiper and washer, cruise control, automatic rear defogger, digital instruments, electronically adjustable passenger side mirror, warning system in dash, and the voice warning system. These options are all there and in working order, F = 5-Speed, U = Federal Emissions, B = Power Steering, C1 = Automatic Climate Control, Y = Leather Seating . The rear struts are in need of replacement, as the right rear is blown. The 70-series BFGoodrich tires have tread life, but show cracking. Our mechanic recently inspected the vehicle and can be contacted for verification. The smog and registration are current and the title is clear. Terms: Vehicle is being sold "as-is" with no warranty.
