Description of 1970 Datsun Other 1600

This Datsun Roadster 1600 is a fun car to drive around town. This is a perfect starting point for someone that wants a Roadster 1600 to own and restore eventually. The car runs, but will need the carbs tuned and brakes serviced first. The car has been repainted from silver to blue. It is not a show car, which makes it that much more enjoyable to drive around, before putting more money into her. I was planning to eventually put a newer fuel injected motor. However, my house needs some work first.
I would rate the overall condition a 6.8 out of 10 (10 being a show car). She does show her age up close and will need some attention. I have purchased the following items to eventually install, but with my new job and front yard landscaping I just don't have the time to work on the car.
Included is a hardtop, soft top cover. All new items included=$608Head Gasket Kit Valve Seals $84.00Oil Pan Gasket $21Rear Main Seal $62Radiator Hose Set $49Tune up Kit (Spark plugs/wires, distributor cap, rotor, points, condenser.) $92Champion 3 Row Radiator with overflow tank $300
The Good: The interior of the car is in great condition, better than my new car. The paint on the car is a few years old, but still clean. Minimal rust in expected areas for a 50-year-old car. I have not seen any major areas of rust spots that need attention, overall it is VERY rust free for a 1970 Datsun.
The Bad: The body and paint are fair. The car is in need of a tune up. The brakes do need to be serviced. The odometer gauge needle fell off during a recent drive. The tachometer gauge is pinned to 6,000 rpm and will need to be replaced. I was going to replace all three gauges at some point, but never got to it. The gas cap will need to be replaced. The tape player in the glove compartment went out and will need to be replaced. Their is also a 6 disc changer in the trunk.
