This classic Datsun 720 pickup is a very original example with extremely low mileage, in good condition for the age and just a cool old truck. It is also a well equipped model with the extended "King" cab, 4WD and DX trim and optional fender flares, tube bumpers and fender flares. Despite having visible rust, this truck is actually a Southern vehicle that's been here in NC since it was new. A vehicle is only original once, so we chose to service and detail this truck rather than paint it. Neat items to note: selling dealer's name on the tailgate, window sticker & owner's books present. The truck runs & drives and has had a lot of recent service. Just before we got it, the the carburetor, tires and ignition switch were replaced. Our preparation for sale included: Engine: oil change; new spark plugs, wires & rotor, valve cover gasket, water pump & coolant Electrical: new battery;brake light switch; new t/s bulbs Brakes: new LF caliper, hoses, rear wheel cylinders, drum hardware and fluid Body/exterior: new wiper blades, RF turn signal, tailgate handle This is a running, driving truck that works and is clean & presentable. The good highlights are the mileage, the condition of the interior, completeness, lack of modifications and lack of rust in the bed, probably due to having a camper shell for some time. The negatives are some fading of the vinyl door panels, the dents, body rust, door rust, bent front bumper, rusty rear bumper and missing wheel center caps. Non original items we are disclosing are the aftermarket radio and the front seats. They are super nice, but have been redone. Due to the age, this truck is exempt from inspection here in NC. But it is new enough to have a Carfax report, which doesn't show any issues. Along with more photos, it can be seen on our website. Please contact us for more details or to schedule a test drive.
