Up for sale is a 1971 (1/71) original survivor unmolested Datsun 240Z. It has 77. 00 original miles. The interior is in spectacular condition and has an uncracked dash. All of the original door and window seals are in great condition. There is a tear on the side of the drivers seat as you sit your butt into it. As far as we can tell. everything except the clock works in this car. The carpet and carpet jute is original. Even the door buzzer works. The original owners manual will also be included in the sale. We are describing this car to the best of our ability and trying not to leave anything out. There are plenty of pictures provided in the link below so be sure to look at them all. I have gone thru the entire car to make sure it is mechanically sound. The history of the car as we understand it is as follows. It was purchased brand new in Bakersfield California at the Datsun dealership there by a young college lady who lived and drove it in southern California from 1971 until 1977 where she put on 66. 00 miles then parked it in her moms garage (also in Southern California) for unknown reasons. The mother put on an additional 11. 00 miles between 1977 and 2007. In 2007 it was purchased by a friend of the mothers by an older lady here in Oregon who had her nephew here go down to California and trailered the car back up to Oregon where it sat in her garage until her death around 2012 and then it sat in probate until November of 2014 when the nephew again trailered it here to it's new home. Since we acquired the car in November of 2014 I have gone through it to be sure whomever gets it would have a 100% mechanically sound car. There is absolutely ZERO rust in this car. It looks as if the front end has had a repaint at some point in its life though we could not get any info regarding this. I think the car would make a great daily driver or a road trip car just the way it is. The car also has an automatic transmission. Believe it or not it has plenty of pep and was pleasantly surprised with the automatic.
