Description of 1976 Datsun Z-Series

This is a real Fairlady Z from Japan. all the proper stuff(i. e. mesh grill. tail lights. marker lights. all gauges. badging and factory labels all in Japanese). It is technically a 260Z. they made them in Japan for years after the one and only year they were imported them to the US. But this beast has had a motor swapped with a fuel injected 280Z motor and a 5 speed close ratio tranny. Currently titled in AZ. clean title. currently registered and insured. just needs new owner. This is a survivor car. I added the racing stripes and distressed them so they did not look out of place. There is a bunch of rust(they did not do corrosion protection in japan back then). but this car runs great and everything works as it should and there are no problems!! no power steering. a/c taken out. power windows. Body: clear headlight covers. wing mirrors. fairlady badges. 16" wheels with good tires. fender flairs Motor: New rebuilt close ratio 5 speed tranny. new clutch. shifter slop fixed. new mass air sensor. new fuel injectors. cap rotor. plugs and wires. new water pump. hoses. current tune up. valves adjusted. new starter. all new sensors. custom intake. street cam. header. new exhaust and muffler(Dual stacked tips like the 432Z) interior: Seat re-upholstered. dash cover. dash is cracked. all gauges are in Celsius and kg/cm. old school Momo Indy wood steering wheel. am/fm 8 tract tape player(not hooked up) Also included with the car: brand new coil overs with new KYB strut cartridges. extra FI set up. all a/c parts. bunch of extra partsOn Feb-21-15 at 12:19:05 PST. seller added the following information: More info I remebered about car. has new throttle body with the BCDD stuff removed and welded up. new Accel coil. wires and plugs. new water pump. new slave cylinder. fuel pressure gauge and intake with K&N filter. On Feb-22-15 at 11:09:04 PST. seller added the following information: New starter too! Eliminated the headlight relays and upgraded the connections to them. Block is a L28. added new pics. Car is very cold blooded. I replaced all the parts on the engine trying to make it start easy. what I have finally figured out is the cold start injector only squirts a little fuel if temp is below 72 degrees. well it was barely ever below that here in Cali. so I hot wired that injector to a switch( you flip the switch. crank the starter and the car fires instantly. then you shut the switch off and let car warm up). it acts kinda like a choke now. but since its fuel injection. its just adding a little bit of fuel to get here started. Once car is warm. it fires instantly.
