Description of 1970 Datsun Z-Series

EXPORT. NO PROBLEM. Collectors dream!! This is an Ultra Rare First year. Unrestored Low Vin Series 1 California 240Z in EXCELLENT condition with AC. This is a very collectable and correct early Z with RARE Webastos dealer option sunroof. These optional roofs were offered by a select few southern California dealers in the early 70's and there are only a handful of these cars remaining. Car is matching numbers Classic Z car has been loved and meticulously maintained by one adult owner since 1976. . low vin cars with these period correct features and options are extremely rare especially in this condition. This Z is excellent all around. Looks. runs. feels. and drives fantastic. Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection. daily driver if you like while it increases in value. :) A true head turner and a blast to drive. Body is super straight with no collision damage whatsoever. Older repaint presents well with some blemishes and some bubbling only in the passenger lower fender. Underside is rust free. straight and clean. Seems and rubbers are excellent and the body. trim. moldings etc are well in tact. Correct dealer option slotted wheels with near new tires. I'm having the sunroof canvas replaced next week. Interior is Excellent as well. Redone Seats. Panels. and Carpet all look great. I assume dash is cracked under the cover. Gauges and electronics work properly except the clock ( of course). The factory ventilation controls were removed when the AC was installed. dont know why. It is controlled by 2 knobs now and the AC works great and blows strong. Matching numbers L24 Motor starts. runs. and idles excellent. Super responsive and nicely tuned. 4 Speed trans shifts smooth through the gears. Suspension is all redone and feels tight and handles excellent. Goes down the road straight with no wiggles. shimmies. or shakes. Stops straight and sure. EXCELLENT. FAST driver. Overall this is a Super nice little classic series 1 Z in fantastic condition all around. it is extremely rare and beautifully preserved. Awesome weekend cruiser. show car. or addition to any collection.
