1970 Datsun 521 pickup 7 day auction starting @ $1970 and NO RESERVE. Resurrected barn find. Bought new @ Chester Palmer Datsun in Roseville California. Found and purchased from original owner on a ranch in Roseville just a few years ago. Both original CA blue & yellow plates with original dealer plate frame in rear. Lots and lots of work done over the last 2 years to get it back on the road... Good running original 1600 motor. Rebuilt carburetor. New battery. Complete tune up. New fuel pump. New water pump. New gas tank and lines.Good shifting 4 speed with good clutch.Good brakes. Completely serviced with replaced items were needed.Rebuilt front end including king pins. New bushings and shocks all around.Lowered 3" with blocks and re indexed torsion bars. Rides nicely.Refreshed interior.New radial vintage white walls on original wheels with all 4 caps.Good glass throughout with 1 star chip in the windshield.Solid truck with original paint. Rust in driver side floor (cut and replaced with formed steel, then Por15 treated).Rust in driver rocker, and just barely starting on passenger side. Other than that, very solid. Super cool little patina cruiser, but in the interest of full disclosure, this should be considered a driver/fixer. Or driver/project. Truck will now need some drive time to see what still may need attention. Most everything works though including: lights, horn, radio, dome light, dash lights, heater, wipers, etc, but blinker switch could use some help, or replaced...door seals & window felts ready to be replaced...stuff like that. Pre purchase inspections welcomed and encouraged anytime prior to auction ending. DRD Motor Trade is a licensed, bonded, California dealer.
