Description of 1970 Datsun Z-Series Fairlady 240Z

EXPORT NO PROBLEM!
ATTENTION COLLECTORS!!
This is a SUPER RARE Early 1970 Highly Documented well appointed Right hand drive Fairlady... sold in Japan July 1970. It is an early vin car with the "series 1" features... front ashtray console, closed jdm steering wheel, vertical defrost, vented hatch etc. Has the rare rally clock, competition wheel, FACTORY 5 speed, and passenger footrest. Has a mild built l24 motor and runs/drives great. Retains mostly original paint and is surprisingly rust free in the normal Z trouble spots... passenger floor pan should be done and I have it... one dog leg is rough as well... otherwise its minor surface rust and natural patina. Very obviously needs body/paint to go next level and very well worth that investment. Z car is refreshed and is a reliable excellent daily driver. I have extensive very rare documentation to go with it including original sales and import documents... books and manuals... keys, etc. as well as several rare and valuable jdm parts such as mirrors, emblems, column switches and trim, etc. This is a wonderfully driving investment collector car!... Daily driver, weekend cruiser or addition to any collection!

The body retains its original panels and is surprisingly rust free except for passenger floor and dog leg. It retains mostly original paint with natural patina.
Frame and chassis are solid. This is an early 1970 build with the "series 1" features... as well as rare JDM features. Period correct slotted mag rims with good tires.
The interior is good... carpet is new and seats look great...... dash is cracked under the cover.,, door panels are decent... interior trim is well intact and great shape. Gauges, lights, electronics work properly except the clock of course. I had the headlight and turn signal switches rebuilt and the trim is in tact.
L24 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... carbs tuned perfectly! The car has great power... FACTORY 5-speed
Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears!! Suspension feels tight and provides excellent ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable.
Overall this is a really cool Classic Z in great condition all around. I am a Z collector. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
The car is located in Beverly Hills California... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. I'm open to interesting trades (within ebay guidelines) but no projects or junk please.
