Description of 1979 Datsun Z-Series 280ZX

Selling my very clean1979 280zx Datsun. This car is in amazing condition as it sits. The paint looks awesome and was re-sprayed in the mid 90’s but has been stored in a garage ever since. If you are a collector looking for a near showroom factory original 280zx, this is your car. If you are a tuner looking for a great foundation for a JDM classic, this is your car. Would be a great daily driver or just a car show cruiser. The car drives and runs amazing. No leaks or mechanical issues at all. The car also has the factory wheels in mint condition with new tires if the buyer is interested in looking original.
Features:
5 speed manual transmission
2.8L engine that has been rebuilt within the last 4k miles
80k original milesNew clutchResurfaced flywheelEGR delete
Very clean interior (no cracked dash which is rare on these)
Sparco 4 point harness
Upgraded headers with full Flowmaster exhaust
Upgraded Kenwood mp3 cd player, Sony speakers, and aftermarket amp
20 inch deep dish Drag wheels with brand new tires (look amazing on this car)
Factory set of original 15 inch wheels included (perfect condition)
New carpet
Upgraded cold air intake
Heater works amazing
Full A/C kit comes with the car (currently not installed)New brakes that work very wellThis car can get 31mpg on the freeway
Engine rebuild in 2015. Oil pan gasket sprung a leak and the only way to get to it was really to pull the engine. So I took it apart, brought the block, pistons, and head to Alec's automotive (they build some choice engines) and had them magnaflux the block, hone cylinders, and put in new valve stem seals. I reassembled it and replaced the gaskets on almost everything.
EGR got deleted too as it was stuck open. That's what the metal plate is on the back of the intake. New clutch and resurfaced flywheel too.

The only thing that I have not fixed the rear lift gate shocks are worn out and do not hold the rear hatch up.
There is also a slight tear on the passengers seat.

This is an honest car and probably one of the cleanest Z’s around. Sold as-is and you won't be disappointed. Thanks for looking!
