This is a really nice 1 Owner Low Mile So Cal 280Z in excellent original RUST FREE condition all around!! This rare Z was in loved by a single enthusiast family and spent the past 20 years in their private collection/motor museum. Meticulously maintained with extensive original documentation and records! The car is fresh out of a full refresher service. it looks runs and drives excellent. It retains its unmodified matching numbers drivetrain, body panels and interior... all in fabulous condition. It retains the majority of its factory parts and factory undercoating. Super straight and clean. It is an excellent runner/driver with no squeaks, rattles or funny business!. I am a serious Z collector... It is RARE to find an all original rust free Z in this condition. Unused jack and spare... all original window sticker and dealer docs etc... this in as investment grade car. This little Z would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection.
The body is completely rust free and straight. Frame, floors, and chassis are totally solid... underside is super straight and retains most of its factory undercoating. Nice driver quality repaint in Datsun 110 red presents beautifully with only minor blemishes.
The interior is very straight and clean as well... panels and trim look great. I assume dash is cracked under the molded cover. Passenger seat and driver side carpet showing some ware... I have seat upholstery and carpet but wasnt necessary to replace in my opinion. Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly except the clock, of course! Later model sound system sounds good and AC blows cold.
Original L28 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... has good power and sounds great. 4 speed Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears!! Suspension feels tight and provides excellent ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly fully serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable.
Overall this is a rare rust free So Cal Z in beautiful condition all around. I am a Z collector. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
