Description of 1980 DeLorean DMC-12 DMC-12

New Page 1 Remember the 80s? This car will take you back. 1981 Delorean 28. 00 original miles. Car featured in on of the MOST classic American movies of our time known and seen around the world. This car is increasing in value year by year. Next year will be 2015 (The year this car time traveled to in Back to the Future 2) due to Back to the Future reunions. events and other hype. this car will be worth more next year. There has also been talk of a DeLorean-story movie. This car specifically was featured in a commercial spot for an advertisement of a fashion company which is why the car has models posing around it. This car was a first year model and among the first few thousand DMC-12 Automatic DeLoreans ever produced. Stainless in excellent condition. Interior and leather in great condition too. Inside of fuel tank when cleaned:Fuel pump:Inside the boot: TO SEE THE COMMERCIAL LOOK UP:American Fox: To the Future from Stephen R. McFadden on Vimeo. Mostly original. Only things added were the CD player. transmission cooler. headliner. fuel pump. Keyless Entry/door poppers and floor mats. Everything else is original to the car including the motor. Only other issue worth mentioning is the left passenger side gull-wing door does not go up on its own. Driver's side window motor may be bad? Very common for these. Car runs and drives but needs some tuning. Fuel pump is new. gas tank was cleaned so was fuel lines. New fuel filter and cleaned injectors as well as rebuilt CIS injection system fuel distributor. It is a great investment for anyone's future since it will always be seen as a classic stainless-steel gull-wing Back to the Future car. It gets more attention sitting around than any other car on the road hands down. It probably always will. It is also a great marketing tool if you park it in front of your business. It does not have a flux capacitor but it does have a strange invisible tractor beam that pulls everyone in. Hypnotizing them to magically slow down or gather around and take pictures. If this was parked on a busy street you could almost just make the money from it sitting there with a jar that says $1. 00 per picture even on the honor's system you will still probably make hundreds per week. Not to mention this car could be a good retirement plan since it is a solid investment that is destined to increase in value quite a bid over the next few years especially when it turns 40 and is seen as an antique. . Anyway enough ideas. If you are serious. please do not waste my time on this car. I loved owning it as anyone would and selling it is difficult enough for me to have to keep up with all the interest I get. If you want to schedule a time to meet up and see the car in person I most likely will schedule you with other interested people so that it saves me time explaining and showing it.
