1979 Dodge Adventurer SE 1-Ton D300 Dually Pickup Truck in spectacular condition with a 1968 HP440 Magnum engine, 27 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission, nd heavy-duty Dana 4.10 rearend. Previously owned by a Mopar collector; was used as both a show truck and also to pull his Mopar drag car to the track. Showing only 23,243 miles, his long bed Club Cab is in spectacular condition.
The original 400 cubic inch 200 horsepower V8 engine was replaced with a seriously powerful engine; a 1968 HP440 Magnum from a 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T. The transmission was upgraded to a seriously tough transmission; a 1968 Torqueflite. Both were rebuilt prior to installation with the engine upgrades inlude 10:1 Keith Black pistons, Mopar Purpleshaft torque/midrange cam, olley 750cfm Dual-Feed carb, delbrock Performer aluminum intake, opar electronic ignition, nd factory HP exhaust manifolds connected to a large diameter free-flow exhaust. These engines are rated at 375 horsepower when stock and actually produce well over 400 but with the modifications, his engine easily makes 450+ horsepower; reliably and on pump gas. Starts right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note and that great sounding cam. Runs perfectly, ulls hard, nd there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, o leaks, o noises. The transmission shifts perfectly and the heavy-duty Dana 4.10 rearend is strong enough for heavy loads and serious towing. Accelerates strongly and cruises the highway like a man's truck should. Very powerful truck.
Power steering and power disc brakes for safe easy driving and the comfortable Adventurer SE deluxe interior is in excellent condition. No marks on the seat, o wear on the carpets, o cracks in the dash. Ice cold air conditioning and the deluxe factory AM/FM stereo with factory CB radio built in. Rallye gauges include oil pressure, ater temperature, olts, acuum, uel, amp; tach). Tilt steering column and factory cruise control. Being a Club Cab, here is lots of room behind the front seat for secure storage or adding two jump seats. Exceptionally comfortable interior.
Superb body with no dents, o dings, o waves, nd no patch panels. All original steel in excellent condition with no rust. Gorgeous paint in correct Bright Red with no flaws; perfectly smooth with a brilliant shine and no flaws; no nicks, o chips. The bed has been finished with a Bright Red Rhino Liner spray-in bedliner (looks awesome) and the bed rails have polished diamond plate protectors. Perfect front grille, xcellent chrome bumpers front & rear, nd professionally polished brightwork. Excellent factory rear fender flares. Dual polished side towing mirrors. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly including the pop-open rear side windows and sliding rear window. Rooftop marker lights. Dual gas tanks. Just professionally detailed, olished, and waxed, nd turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Can also be used to pull a heavy boat, rag car, r horse trailer in style. These first generation Mopar 1-ton duallies are rarely seen anymore and this one is superb.
