1948 4-Door Sedan - Fluid Drive 3 This car's interior is all original, nd in great condition. The upholstery and door panels are nearly perfect except for a tear in the driver’s rear lower door panel. The chrome and fittings are shiny and straight. The dash panel looks practically new except that the 'throttle,' 'temp control' and 'heater' buttons' lettering is slightly worn, nd the clock’s glass is cracked. The exterior is in good shape, ith nearly all original parts (has replacement fender skirts). There is no rust anywhere on the body. The chrome is very nice, ll the way around. There are a few very minor dings in the grill, nd some scratches with rust on the front bumper. The center portion of the rear bumper has a dent and is crooked when viewed from the side. Both sides of the windshield are cracked vertically; the rest of the glass is very nice. There is some surface rust around the stripping inside the trunk lid, ut the floor pan is solid and rust-free.. There are several small dents on various panels (doors, enders) - please see photos. The car does not appear to have ever been in an accident. Underneath, the frame rails are solid with no signs of rust. The original quarter panels are also in very nice condition, ith no rust. Rocker panels are clean and solid, s are the front fenders. The engine compartment shows 'clean dirt' and could be detailed. The starter bendix is going out, ut the car is otherwise in very good mechanical condition. It drives smoothly (Fluid Drive 3) and powerfully. There is no smoke or unusual sound from the engine. There is no simpler way to feel grand than to drive this car! Please email me for link to more photos.
