Description of 1971 Dodge Charger

Beautifully restored 1971 Charger SE. Many of the original parts were retained in the restoration process due to the fact the car was in very good condition to start with. It is a factory black 383 automatic car with many options. Engine- #'s matching 383 block. Engine was completely rebuilt by Wagomon Bros. racing in Minneapolis MN. Stock heads & intake were used but ported slightly and a cmop cam was installed to give it a slight power increase while using stock factory parts. Put out 371 hp and 440 lb ft of torque on the dyno using a correct n. o. s holley 4668 carb. All the hoses. belts etc. have the correct markings and numbers. Engine bay is done to resemble what left the factory as close a possible. Trans- Date coded 727 auto. Complete rebuild with all new parts and shift kit installed. Body- Car was stripped to bare metal and any rust areas were repaired. The drivers side floor pan was replaced. Original quarters. fenders. and trunk pan. All were very solid with only slight surface rust. The car was painted professionally in the correct TX9 black paint. It is painted base/clear and over 2 gallons of clear were used so the car could be buffed to near perfection. Anybody who has tried to take a decent photo of a black car knows its hard to catch it and show the gloss and depth. The paint has very deep gloss and shine like a piece of glass. Interior- New seat upholstery from legendary was installed as was the carpet. Dash. door panels. headliner and interior trim are original. Beautiful Rim Blow wheel. Cassette player that works! I think it needs a new belt though as the player can work very intermittent. Original AM/FM radio works perfect. All of the components for the AC were replaced new and the compressor works. Just needs to be charged for full functional AC. Car also has been upgraded with the VERY RARE A2 drivers aid group. Trim- Every piece of the trim was sent out for polishing. Bumpers re-chromed by Keystone. Fender tag reads:M31 M44 N41 R35 V7XG33 H51 J52 L31 L37 M21V4X U A35 B41 B51 G11TX9 D3X9 TX9 302 047947E65 D32 WP29N1G ******Car has been decoded and entered in the Chrysler Registry By Galen Govier and all paperwork will be included. Overall this is a very nice turn key car that has won multiple trophies at local car shows. It also took third place 2 years ago at the Land O Lakes Muscle Car Classics which is a very high end show in the Upper Midwest. It was appraised by Denny Stehr of I. V. A. N. and was givin a overall grade of -1 which tells the condition of this car. Car is sold as is with no warranty. $1000 deposit required 48 hrs after auction close and buyer is responsible for all shipping and costs.
