Description of 1969 Dodge Other Pickups D100 Swetline Shortbed

1969 Dodge "RAT ROD" short-bed, ig back window pickup truck
LOW RESERVE PRICE!
BODYThis old Dodge has a very nice body. The floor area has been patched with some heavy gauge sheet metal (see pics), ut other than that, he truck is super "Arizona" dry. The body is actually very straight, xcept the passenger door has a few small waves in it. The bed remains in amazing condition for a 46-year-old pickup truck. The chassis and inner body panels are straight and super dry. The sides, ood, oof, ed rails....all look nice. Even the tailgate remains straight! All the glass is good too.
INTERIORThe interior is sanitary and has new carpet and padding. The heater and most of the gauges are functioning.
ENGINEThe 318 V8 engine has a small cam and runs strong, hich is plenty of power for this little truck. It has a 4-speed manual transmission, hich goes through the gears easily.
POWER OPTIONSNone! but not difficult to steer or stop.
PAINTMixture of real patina and faux patina.
SUSPENSIONTwoleaf springshave been pulled from each corners of the truck, nd a set of air shocks added to the front. This lowered the pickup several inches and gave it a smooth "Cadillac ride". For towing, would suggest a rear set of air shocks or bags. The tires are brand new.
This would make a great candidate for a Hot Rod or Shop Truck. The Arizona title is free and clear. Feel free to call or email me with questions. Remember...Low reserve price!

To eBay member: heathercliffsgirl, hanks for the important question.
"Can you send a few pics of the wavy door? Was it hit? Thanks"
Thanks for the question about the door. The previous owner said that in his first attempt (pass door) to strip the truck's original paint, e used a large sandpaper disc on a grinder, hich he soon found out warped sheet metal. The door was never hit, ust a little wavy in a few spots. It could have easily been straightened out, ut I didn't want to disrupt the truck's patina.
As you can see in these pics, he door is in overall nice condition.
In fact, s a body and paint man, can confidently state that I don't believe this truck has ever been wrecked, it or dented. There are no signs of body filler.
