Description of 1987 Dodge Other Pickups

The time has come to say goodbye to my W150. I bought it back in December 2011 as a winter driver for a job that I thought that I was starting the following January. The job never materialized, nd I don't think that I've even put 3000 miles on the truck since then. Now I'm an over-the-road truck driver and barely use my other car, o I really don't need to be spending money on insurance for two vehicles. I did a lot of work to it when I first bought it, o I'll probably be taking a pretty big hit on the sale. For someone who doesn't already have a truck, t would be great for running errands to the home center or nursery, ut I'd really like to see someone buy it as a project to fix up. The 1970's pickups are collectible now, nd some day the 1980's trucks may be too. This would be a good one to have. It's one of the best color combinations Dodge had at the time and I believe that it has just about every option that was available in 1987. As you can see in the pictures, he truck is still very presentable, ut does have some cosmetic issues, hose being rust and the clear coat peeling on the red areas. Structurally, he truck is in good shape. All the cab supports, ockers, ed supports and framing are still pretty clean. I only found one tiny hole in the floor near the driver side seatbelt anchor. The black that you see on the bottoms of the doors is some POR-15 that I brushed on when I first got the truck. Moisture had gotten under the paint and it's pretty pitted there, ut not through yet. I do have two nice doors that go with the truck. The bed has some rust through in spots, lus some Bondo in front of the left taillight. The inside of the bed is real nice, s the truck always had a cap and bed mat. There is some rust on the front edge of the roof that is close to going through, r may even be through in spots. The frame and chassis is crusty, ut I don't see any spots where it's gotten thin. The only real bad rust is on the trailer hitch, hich has a hole in one side. The interior is real nice, ith only minor wear in a few spots. Mechanically, he truck is in good shape, nd it runs and drives well. Currently, othing needs to be repaired to drive the truck on a daily basis. The previous owner replaced the timing chain as a preventative measure, nd sometime in the past, he trans was rebuilt, nd I'll list all the mechanical repairs that I made to it. The negatives in the mechanical area are an occasional lifter tap that will come and go as it pleases and the A/C doesn't work. The lifter tap isn't loud enough to notice inside the truck, nd doesn't stick around for more than a minute or so at a time. The engine has been well maintained, nd after an oil change the oil will stay pretty clean for some time. Here's a list of repairs that I made:
all new brake lines and fuel lines
brake hoses, ear wheel cylinders
front pads, alipers, epacked wheel bearings, ut rotors
parking brake cables
motor mounts
freeze plugs and block heater
heater core
front axle U-joints
rear driveshaft U-joints
battery
carb rebuild
air and fuel filters
power steering pump seals
steering coupler
wiper linkage bushings
oil and lube less than 100 miles ago
Feel free to ask anything that I didn't cover. I'm in eastern Pennsylvania, bout half way between Philadelphia and Allentown. You may come and see the truck in person if you live nearby. Of course, he truck is being sold as-is, here-is. Deposit by PayPal, nd balance due in 7 days. I will accept PayPal for the full amount if you spring for the fees on the balance, hich I think is 2.5%.
