Description of 1946 Dodge Other Pickups

My partner and I recently got this awesome truck from a gentleman that has literally been daily driving it for the past 6 months. Just today it went on a near 3 hour round trip and performed flawlessly. Its a turn key driver and very fun and reliable to cruise. This is a 1946 Dodge pickup. Its got a 318 small block with a 360 top end. Has around 75000 miles on it. The carb could use a little cleaning and fine tuned but it starts and runs fine. trans is an A727 auto w/o overdrive. The rear is a 4 linked Ford 9" rear axle with around a 3.0 gear ratio according to previous owner. its a coil suspension set up in the rear and the springs do feel "soft" in my opinion. Still drives down the road fine. has a little shake around 55 mph but comes out of it after 60. The rear will do a little bounce with those soft springs. Nothing crazy but I don't like to buy something with surprises so I wont leave out anything I know either. The front axle has a disk break conversion running 2003 Mustang calipers. The radiator is a 65 Mustang size. Truck has a mechanical fan but also has an electric to an on off switch for super hot days or stand still cruises. Has a functional Oil Pressure gauge and Water Temp gauge. nothing else. truck runs around 20 psi oil pressure down interstate and 210 for temp. Its been driven to about all of the surrounding states to Iowa for shows and events. The front grill is actually 2 dodge grills put together. The hood is homemade from the side of an actual school bus and piano hinge down the center to fold it open from either side. visor is solid and looks killer. The front window is function and does turn in and out. no side glass. has plexi glass pieces that velcro on for colder days or mornings. Has the traditional siren horn on a button and another with a loud blast. power steering. handles fine. non tilt steering column. working turn signals. on off switch for dome light. radio works. blower motor and heater core are functional with a high and low speed. shifter is set up for P R N D. seats from a Durango and does tilt forward. all door handles do work. plywood bed floor with gas fill in the center. steel wheels. the front tires are due for replacements as they are older bias tires. The rears are brand new about 1000 miles ago. actual white walls the previous owner painted over. no wiper blades. clean and clear iowa title to the 46 dodge cab with matching VIN tag. can call or text with any questions 319-290-6272 Located in Waterloo, owa.
