Description of 1964 Dodge Other Pickups

For Sale is a 1964 Dodge Power Wagon Truck. I bought it two years ago and it has been stored indoors ever since. Here's whatI can tell youabout it.

It appears to be a US Forestry service truck with only 26,000 miles. The original paint is blue but I believe it was sprayed green when the winch and spotlights were added early on.

The truck hasa working 318 poly engine. Most items on the engine have been replaced: plugs, ires, ap, oil, alve cover gasket, ater pump, uel pump, aster cylinder and all oils. The engine is strong andstarts and driveseasily. It wants to be driven. Tires are original and stamped 1964. Surprisingly, hey don't show muchcracking. The gear box is a 4 speed manual transmission with a manual hand lever to engage the 4x4 feature. I drive this truck regularly and have no issues. Heater works great.

It does have some items in need of maintenance: The front windshield has a chunk of weatherstripping (3-4 inches) missing. The rear glass is missing altogether but the truck comes with an OEMreplacement. It also has a couple of holes in the roof where theradio antennas used to be. One of the previous owners replaced the steering wheel and steering box however the originals come with the truck. There is some surface rust but nothing too bad from what I can tell.

I have the original shop manual and owners manual and other small spare parts that come with the W300. The winch is a PTO but does not work. I suspect that it is frozen from non-use. I called the manufacturer (Braden) and they think it just needs cleaned and greased since the miles are so low. I will also include the material Braden sent.

Overall, his is a great truck and a fun restoration project.
